Giovanna O. Kennedy

Giovanna O. Kennedy is a real estate broker with Compass serving the Roaring Fork Valley and is a committed community leader who believes strongly in the power of service and connection. Originally from Lima, Peru, Giovanna was raised in a bilingual English–Spanish environment and later chose to build her life and career in the Roaring Fork Valley after first visiting Aspen during her university years.

Before transitioning into real estate, Giovanna built a successful career in banking and luxury hospitality, ultimately serving as Director of Services at the Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen. Her professional background has shaped her leadership style—grounded in organization, strategic thinking, and a strong focus on creating meaningful experiences for others.

Giovanna has long been dedicated to supporting organizations that strengthen the Roaring Fork Valley community. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for WindWalkers Equine Assisted Learning & Therapy Center, she is a Board Member of the Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Latino Business Advisory Council, and a member of the City of Glenwood Springs Workforce Housing Fund Advisory Board. She also contributes monthly real estate education articles in Spanish to Sol del Valle, the valley’s Spanish-language newspaper.

Giovanna is honored to support WindWalkers’ mission of empowering individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges through equine-assisted programs. She believes deeply in the transformative impact these programs have on participants and their families, and she is proud to contribute her time and leadership to help expand the organization’s reach within the community.

When she is not working or volunteering, Giovanna enjoys spending time with her family and staying connected to the vibrant community she proudly calls home.
