WindWalkers Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for children and teens to spend time in nature, connect with horses, and build social-emotional skills in a safe and supportive environment. Our camps are small by design—allowing for individualized attention, hands-on horse time, and meaningful group activities that foster confidence, empathy, and teamwork.

Camp Activities Include:

  • Daily interaction with horses—grooming, leading, groundwork, and mounted activities

  • Group games and creative projects are designed to build trust and communication

  • Barn chores that teach responsibility, teamwork, and respect for animals

Our summer camps are back and better than ever! With all-new activities, hands-on learning, and plenty of barn-side fun, kids of all abilities are invited to explore, discover, and create unforgettable memories with our horses.

Spots fill quickly and are limited, so we encourage you to register soon to secure your camper’s place. We can’t wait to share an amazing summer together!

2026 Camp Dates & Sessions

Horse Explorers

(previously named All Abilities Camp)

This camp is designed to provide children of all abilities with a safe, fun, and non-competitive environment to explore horsemanship. Daily activities include riding lessons, learning about horses (such as body parts, breeds, markings, and colors), ranch skills, arts & crafts, games, and more. Every child is encouraged to progress at their own pace, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

Ages 6–11 | $1,000/session | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pony Pals

Pony Pals is the perfect introduction to horses for your little ones. This specialized program focuses on developing basic horsemanship skills such as grooming, tacking, riding, and creative activities like horse-themed crafts! With personalized attention and small group sizes, children gain confidence and enjoy their first experiences with horses.

Ages 4–5 | $550/session | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Limited Availability: 8 campers per session (2:1 staff-to-camper ratio)

Children must bring:

  • Lunch

  • Snack & Water Bottle

  • Riding Shoes (boots with a heel – loaners available!)

  • Long Pants (shorts can be worn, but long pants are needed for riding)

  • Hat, Sunglasses & Sunscreen

  • Sweatshirt or Light Jacket

WindWalkers provides:

  • Helmets

  • Craft Supplies

  • WindWalkers T-Shirt

  • Horses!

Interested in being a Junior Volunteer at Summer Camp? Windwalkers youth ages 10–14 are invited to jump in, lend a hand, and be part of the camp magic. It’s a great way to build confidence, learn new skills, and spend even more time at the barn.

Our services are highly subsidized through the generosity of donors, helping to cover the true cost of instruction, horse care, staffing, and facilities.

Participants who do not need the subsidized rate are warmly encouraged to make a meaningful donation. Your gift directly supports our horses, instructors, and fellow WindWalkers and helps ensure our programs remain accessible to all.
