Michelle Muething

Michelle has lived in Colorado with her family for more than sixteen years and has a long-standing career in mental health crisis work.

When moving to the Roaring Fork Valley, she had a unique opportunity to be part of a consult team that built a non-profit from the ground up. 

The grassroots effort of the Aspen Hope Center brought excitement, challenges, and a learning curve unlike any other. Although a trained cognitive-behavioral therapist, Michelle deeply understands the healing that can take place through working with horses. As the loving owner of two WindWalkers' horses, Ben and Cricket, Michelle has a deep love and appreciation for what this amazing organization does for her community. With a leadership background and experience in building and operating a non-profit, Michelle brings her expertise to the Board of Directors and is excited to see what the future holds.
